Wire Intro

Wire product resource

A wire transfer is an electronic transfer of funds sent from one bank or credit union to another. It is faster, but more expensive, than ACH. Wires are ideal for larger dollar amounts that need to be sent quickly.

Synapse supports two types of Wires:

  • Domestic Wires (Fedwire)
  • International Wires (SWIFT)
